Summer To-Do list 2013

It's that time again! A little over 1 month left until Summer begins and I am beyond elated! I skipped my spring to-do list this year cos' with the moving and craziness, it was just too much. Now things are settling down again and I am totally up for a good ole' summer to-do list. I can't believe this is my fourth year doing this. I have never finished the list but it gives me things to look forward to and I usually get at least 15-20 of them done. This will be our first summer spent in an actual house vs. an apartment in years. It's gonna be awesome :D Audrey starts kindergarten in the fall so much of our summer will be spent preparing her for school. And swimming. Lots of swimming. We have a pool literally a 5 minute walk away. Weeee!

1. Eat Shaved Ice with AJ & Daniel at the Pirate Ship!
2. Declutter & Organize the Entire House
3. Read 5 books
4. Start Paying Down the Credit Card Again
5. Take AJ to See Monsters University
6. Purchase Lunchbox Love Cards for AJ
7. Seriously, Fix My Bike!
8. Visit Chestnut Square Farmers Market
9. Enroll AJ in a 'Fast Track Pre-k' 2 Week Class
10. Go to Six Flags with Daniel & AJ for the first time!
11. Take AJ to the Circus!
12. Go on a Date with Daniel to a Ghost Tour
13. Get a Tan
14. Post More Often on my YouTube Channel
15. Oooh, I HAVE to go to Natural Bridge Caverns
16. See Despicable Me 2 with Miss AJ
17. Buy AJ School Supplies
18. Get on a Better Schedule
19. Teach AJ how to count to 30
20. Start Walking At Least 4 times a Week
21. Find a Church
22. Purchase a Backdrop Stand
23. Refinish my Dining Room Table
24. Make AJ a new Chore Chart
25. See Audrey's Recital!
26. Teach Audrey the Rest of our Address & Phone Number

Leaving a few blank, cos' I KNOW there are a few things that I wanna do and I've currently forgotten them! I will fill those in when I finally remember :)

Zoo Day

Blahhhhh, totally in a funk! This sucks. I hate not documenting our lives.

Ahh, and blogspot made them all out of order. Oh whale!

Easter

The night before Easter, AJ begged us to sleep out on the trampoline. That's like a childhood staple, right? I agreed and was just as excited as her! Unfortunately, those kinda things never work out how you plan. AJ wouldn't stop jumping, a fan in our attic is really squeaky and annoying, and the neighbors dogs wouldn't stop barking. So inside we went, and thank God too, cos' it started raining buckets that night! Is it just me or does it rains every dang Easter? I was dying to take pictures of my babies running around outside finding eggs. Instead, we had to have an indoor hunt. With crappy lighting. And less hiding spots! We made it work though!

We went to bed late and had to be up at 7 to start hiding eggs and setting out Easter baskets. Kids woke up around 8 and we're elated that the 'Easter bunny' paid us a visit :) We're trying to cut back on buying them so much junk that never gets played with. However, his mom came over for Easter breakfast and bought them TONS of stuff, haha! The babies we're way excited. Lucky kids ;-)

What's been up?

We moved. It's been hectic. I am very tired of moving and dangit, we are not moving again for a VERY long time! Everything turned out perfectly, we LOVE our house. There are things you take for granted when you've lived in a house for a long time and forget how great things are. Like, I can't tell you how much I love having a mail box again! Not having noisy neighbors blasting music all hours of the day. Always having a guaranteed parking spot in your own drive way. Having a garage & attic for all your storage needs. But most importantly, having a backyard for my littles to play in. Oh, how they absolutely LOVE having a yard. We bought a trampoline for em' and now they just want to jump jump jump ALL the time. Or play in their sand table. They are thrilled, and so am I. I can't wait for all the memories we will make in this house. Now if only we could get everything unpacked and sorted through! Gosh, this is such a long process.
